The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the FIR No. 01/2011 dated 09.02.2011 under Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act registered with PS Anti-Corruption Branch, Delhi be quashed.

Mr Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the FIR was filed almost nine years ago and the final report has not been filed. 3.

Mr Avi Singh, learned ASC appearing for the State stated that the status report was filed yesterday, although, the same is not on record. He read out the relevant paragraph of the said status report wherein it is stated that after conducting the investigation, no case against the petitioner has been made out. Mr Avi Singh, submits that the closure report will be filed on or before 07.09.2020.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.

In the event the closure report is not filed as stated, the petitioner is at liberty to revive the present petition.
