These three petitions have been filed by the petitioner - India W.P.(C) 6983/2020 & connected matters.

Tourism Development Corporation, in respect of assessment orders and demand notices issued by the respondent - New Delhi Municipal Council ["NDMC"] with regard to the assessment of property tax in respect of hotels owned by the petitioner.

It was recorded in the order dated 28.10.2024 that the parties are making an attempt to resolve the dispute.

Mr. Sanjay Sharma, learned Standing Counsel for NDMC, states that the petitioner has been given a hearing, and fresh assessment orders will be passed in place of the impugned orders after considering the objections of the petitioner.

Mr. Sharma states that NDMC will therefore not take any further action in terms of the impugned assessment orders dated 27.07.2020 and 30.12.2019 in W.P.(C) 6983/2020, impugned demand notices dated 12.02.2020 and 17.09.2020 in W.P.(C) 10078/2020, and impugned assessment orders dated 10.02.2020 and 27.07.2020 in W.P.(C) 10082/2020.

It appears from the above submission that the petitioner's grievance stands satisfied. The writ petitions, alongwith pending applications, are therefore disposed of in terms of the aforesaid statement on behalf of NDMC.
