The present writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution for issuance of directions to the respondent for releasing the non-recurring and recurring grant-in-aid to the petitioner under the 'Scheme of Grant-inAid to the voluntary and other organizations working for Scheduled Castes' on the basis of recommendation made by the Screening Committee in its meeting held on 16.08.2018 with further directions to continue with the release of the said aid on yearly basis w.e.f. financial year 2016-17. The petitioner has made the following prayers:- [a] Issue a Writ of Certiorari and quash the order dated 05.10.2020 passed by the Respondent; and [b] Issue a Writ of Mandamus and direct the Respondent to forthwith release the non-recurring and recurring Grant-in-aid to the Petitioner under the "Scheme of Grant-in-aid to voluntary and other organizations working for scheduled castes" on the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. basis of recommendation made by the Screening Committee in its meeting held on 16.08.2018 with a further direction to the Respondent to continue the release of the aid on yearly basis w.e.f financial year 2016-17; and [c] Pass any other and further order(s) as may be deemed fit. 2.

The counsel for the petitioner stated that after referring the compliance affidavit filed in CONT.CAS(C) 14/2023 and copy of the order dated 03.03.2023 annexed with the compliance affidavit stated that the respondent has already granted the non-recurring grant-in-aid to the petitioner. He further stated that the application for grant of recurring aid is still pending with the respondent and the respondent be directed to process the said application as early as possible. In these circumstances, the counsel for the petitioner stated that the present petition along with CONT.CAS(C) 14/2023 can be disposed of.

Accordingly, the respondent is directed to process the application submitted on behalf of the petitioner for grant of recurring aid, if any, preferably within a period of 08 weeks in accordance with rules and regulations with intimation to the petitioner within two weeks after the disposal of the said application already preferred by the petitioner. 4.

The present petition along with pending applications, if any, stands disposed of. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to initiate appropriate legal proceedings in case of altered circumstances. DR.
