The present petition has been filed inter alia praying for directions to th June, 2012 and the respondent to decide the application dated 29 representation dated 07th April, 2022, in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted an application in the year 2012 for transferring the registration of Plot No. 1077, Sector-34, Pocket-4, Rohini measuring 60 sq. mts., in the name of the petitioner.

It is submitted that one Mr. Raghbir Singh Virdi was issued FDR No. 15473 in respect of allotment of MIG Plot under the Rohini Residential Scheme, 1981 and was assigned Priority No. 14754. He was declared as the successful allotee and allotted Plot No. 1077, Sector-34, Pocket-4, Rohini, measuring 60 sq. mts., against his registration. 6.

The aforementioned Mr. Raghbir Singh Virdi died on 14th February, 2012 leaving behind a Will dated 16th June, 2005, whereby, the subject property was bequeathed to the petitioner. It is submitted that the petitioner by way of letter dated 29th June, 2012, requested the respondent for mutation and allotment of the subject property in the name of the petitioner, and submitted all the requisite documents, as required by the respondent. 7.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that since the year 2012, the petitioner has provided all the requisite documents for mutation and allotment of the subject property in his favour, however, the respondent has failed to decide and act upon the application of the petitioner. 8.

Issue notice. Notice is accepted by learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Delhi Development Authority ("DDA"). 9.

Considering the submissions made before this Court, it is directed that the application dated 29th June, 2012 and the representation dated 07th April, 2022, submitted by the petitioner, shall be decided by the respondent- DDA expeditiously.

At this stage, Mr. Ashim Vachher, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the DDA, submits on instructions, that DDA shall consider the representation of the petitioner and shall decide the same within a period of eight weeks. The aforesaid submission made by learned Standing Counsel for the DDA is taken on record, and the DDA is held bound by the same. Accordingly, it is directed that the representation of the petitioner shall be decided by the respondent-DDA within a period of eight weeks from today, and at the time of consideration of the representation of the petitioner, opportunity of personal hearing shall also be given to the petitioner and/or his authorized representatives. 12.

It is further directed that the decision on the representation of the petitioner shall be duly communicated by the DDA to the petitioner. 13.

Needless to state, in case the petitioner is aggrieved by any decision of the DDA, the petitioner is at liberty to seek remedies in accordance with law.

The present petition is accordingly disposed of, with the aforesaid directions.
