The challenge in these petitions have been made to the order dated May 02, 2024, with a prayer for setting aside of the same with a mandamus to reinstate the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondents draws our attention to page 21 of the petition to contend that petitioners have a remedy under Rule 28A of the BSF Rules 1969, and as such they should make a representation within a period of three months from today.

Mr. Bhargava, learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioners, instead of waiting three months, shall make the representation immediately within two weeks.

If that be so, on receipt of the same, respondents shall consider the representation in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the order to be passed by the respondents, liberty shall be with them to approach this Court in accordance with law. 5.

The petitions stand disposed of with the aforesaid observations. 6.
