% 26.08.2019 The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C), seeking directions to Delhi Police to ensure protection to the petitioner and his family members. Status report has been received. As per status report, the petitioner was called by one Nitin Khatri and he (the petitioner) was detained and assaulted at the office of the said Nitin Khatri at Shiv Mandir Colony, Near Nasha Mukti Kendra, Safiyabad, Sonepat, Haryana. The place of occurrence falls under jurisdiction of Police Station Kundli, DistrictSonepat, Haryana. The complainant (petitioner herein) Azad Khan was, therefore, advised to lodge his complaint in the said police station . The MLC, statement and complaint of the petitioner have been sent to DCP/Outer, North District for onward transfer to Police Station-Kundli,

Sonepat, Haryana through SSP, Sonepat, Haryana. It is further stated in the status report that Kalandra under Section 107/150 Cr.P.C has been prepared against all the eight alleged persons so that they can be bound down for not committing any cognizable offence against the petitioner. The petitioner has been asked by this Court whether he has any other grievance against the police officer. He said that he doesn't have anything else to say.

The petitioner has been given mobile numbers of Beat Staff and Divisional Officer of the concerned police station and they have been instructed to remain in touch with the petitioner and his family and grant him necessary protection promptly as and when required. In view of the fact that offence has been taken place in Police StationKundli, District-Sonepat, Haryana and steps have been taken to transfer all the records to the Police Station-Kundli, District-Sonepart through SSP, Sonepat, Haryana, and a kalandra has been prepared against all the alleged eight persons, no other direction is required to be passed by the Court in regard to the complaint made by the complainant/petitioner.
