This petition has been filed seeking directions against respondent No.1 to furnish the correct address of respondent No.2 and produce respondent No.2 before this Court.

Petitioner Nos.1 and 2 are parents of respondent No.2 who is a mature lady of 37 years of age.

Respondent No.2 is present before this Court and states that she does not wish to interact with her parents as she has suffered in that household and does not want to share her address to avoid any harassment. She is taking care of her two minor children, which is her responsibility. As regards matrimonial issues with her husband, it is her responsibility to manage the same. 4.

Considering that the respondent No.2 is a mature lady of 37 years of age, directions as sought in the writ petition are not sustainable under law. Emotional pleas of parents cannot supervene the legal right of an adult to take their own decisions as per their prudence and wisdom. Besides, in this case she alleges harassment by her own family members. 5.

There is no other allegation relating to any offence or any complaint or FIR that has been registered.
