The present petition has been filed seeking following relief:- "It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ(s), order(s) and/or direction(s) thereby directing the respondent Nos. 7 to 4 to take immediate action against the respondent no.5 namely Head Constable Deen Mohammad posted at Police Post: Turkman Gate (under Police Station: Chandni Mahal) Delhi for causing harassment, threats, abusing, insulting and blackmailing the present petitioner and for misusing his official position and to see that he does not interfere in the smooth running of the business of A.C. repairing etc. in his shop premises bearing No. 3188, Turkman Gate, Phatak Teliyan, Delhi-I10006 and to provide protection to the person and property / business of the present petitioner."

the business of AC repairing and off and on he is being troubled by the respondent no.5.

In view of the above, issue notice. Learned ASC for the State accepts notice. On instructions from the IO, she submits that it is only on account of surveillance during the General Elections that the respondent no.5 would visit the petitioner since he is declared BC of the area. She further submits that since the General Elections are over, therefore, no special surveillance is required.

She submits that henceforth, surveillance will be carried out in accordance with law.

In view of the above statement of learned ASC, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition. 6.
