% 15.12.2025 1.

This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "a. Issue necessary directions / writ in the nature of Mandamus to the respondents for de-freezing of the Current account 910020010268429 with Axis bank Nehru Place Branch freeze by the respondent No. 1 without any cause and without any authority of law.

b. Pass appropriate orders and direction for stay of proceedings pending before respondent and pass any other order and directions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

2.

Mr. Naveen Malhotra, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that Respondent No.2/Axis Bank has illegally frozen the bank account of the Petitioner which is the subject matter of this petition with no directions in W.P.(C) 7340/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. this behalf from any authority. It is pointed out that even earlier three bank accounts of the Petitioner were frozen and this Court allowed the writ petitions on 20.05.2025 on a statement being made on behalf of Enforcement Directorate that no directions were issued for freezing the accounts. It is urged that the Bank has no policy or guidelines relating to the circumstances, in which the bank accounts can be frozen. 3.

Mr. Gurnani, learned counsel for Enforcement Directorate, on instructions, submits that no directions were given by ED to freeze the concerned bank account of the Petitioner and therefore, the said Respondent has no objection if a direction is given to defreeze the account. 4.

In light of the submission made by Mr. Gurnani, Respondent No.2 is directed to defreeze the current account of the Petitioner, which is subject matter of this writ petition on or before 19.12.2025. It is held that account in question will not be treated as having been frozen on account of any order passed by the Directorate of Enforcement and as such, there will be no impediment in the way of the Petitioner in operating the said bank account. 5.

With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of.
