The present petition, inter-alia, seeks a direction to respondent no.1 to dispose of the petitioner's Complaint No. PR-300/23-DD/349/2023 in terms of Rule 9 of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigation of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of cases) Rules, 2007. 2.

It transpires that the aforesaid complaint has already been closed, inasmuch as the Director (Discipline) found no merit in the complaint and the said opinion of the Director (Discipline) was affirmed by the Board of Discipline.

The petitioner confines himself to seeking that a copy of the concerned inquiry report prepared by the Director (Discipline) be supplied to him 4.

Learned counsel for respondent no.1 submits that the said report shall be provided within a period of two weeks from today. The said statement is taken on record.
