The Petitioner is a convict, sentenced to undergo life imprisonment in case arising out of FIR No. 185/2012 for the offences under Sections 302 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 18601 as well as Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at P.S. Mangolpuri. 2.

Through the instant petition, the Petitioner seeks parole for a period of 60 days on account of the demise of his father, who is stated to have passed away on 22nd May, 2025. A proof, the cremation receipt and a provisional death certificate of the Petitioner's father have been annexed with the present petition. Although these documents are yet to be verified by the State, the Investigating Officer, who is present before the Court, states that he has spoken with a resident of the locality where the Petitioner's family resides, and that person has confirmed the factum of the death of the father 1 "IPC"

Therefore, considering that the factum of death of the Petitioner's father has been prima facie verified by the State and further noting that his conduct in jail for last one year has been satisfactory, the request made in the present petition is allowed.

Accordingly, the Petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of 21 days from the date of his release, on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount, to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent/Trial Court, and subject to the following conditions:

(i) The Petitioner shall not leave the NCT of Delhi, during the period of parole, without the prior permission of the concerned Court; (ii) The Petitioner shall report to the concerned SHO once a week, on every Monday, during the period of parole.

(iii) At the time of furnishing bail bond, the Petitioner shall provide his mobile number(s) to the concerned SHO, which mobile number(s) shall be kept operational at all times during the period of his release; (iv) The Petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Authorities immediately at the expiry of the period of parole.

With the above directions, the present petition stands disposed of. 6.
