O R D E R

% 13.02.2018 Respondent no.2 (wife) is present in Court and has been identified by SI Samrat Khatiyan of police station Harsh Vihar. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 (husband) before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi on 4th January, 2017 and is living in the matrimonial home, therefore, she is not interested in pursuing the FIR No. 111/2012 under Sections 323/498A IPC registered at police station Harsh Vihar against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5 and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after ironing out their difference, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be

served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
