By this petition the petitioner seeks interim bail on the ground that she is now in the last month of pregnancy and has to deliver a child. 2.
On a notice being issued a status report has been filed. As per the status report the petitioner in involved in a serious offence being in possession of 24.8 kgs ganja recovered from her. 3.
As per the status report the investigation is almost complete and on receipt of the FSL report or even before thereto the charge sheet will be filed in accordance with law. The factum that the petitioner is in her last month of pregnancy has been verified. On instructions from the Investigating Officer, the learned APP for the State submits that the petitioner's mother-in-law is there at the residence to take care of her at the time of pregnancy. The petitioner has two children already.

Considering the verification report and the fact that the petitioner is likely to deliver a child anytime this month, this Court deems it fit to grant interim bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on bail for a period of six weeks from the date of her release on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will provide her mobile phone, which will be kept on every time so that she can be contacted by the Investigating Officer and she will not leave Delhi without prior permission of the Court concerned.
