The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that he be released on parole for a period of three months in order to file a Special Leave Petition in the Supreme Court.

The petitioner was convicted of an offence under Section 302/34 of the IPC and was awarded life imprisonment.

The petitioner has already undergone actual custody of six years five months and fourteen days as on 02.08.2019. He has also earned remission of 6 months. The appeal preferred by the petitioner in Crl.A.No.536/2016 was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 26.04.2019. 4.
The petitioner was released on bail on 24.11.2016 to 26.04.2017. His conduct in the jail in the last one year has been found to be satisfactory. 5.
The status report has been filed, which indicates that the address provided by the petitioner was verified. One Shri Hardev Singh was found
at the address who stated that he is native uncle of the petitioner and confirmed that the petitioner would stay with him during the period of his parole.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed. It is directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a further period of three weeks from the date of his release, on his furnishing a Personal Bond in the sum of ₹20,000/- and a surety of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
He shall also report to the SHO of the concerned police station immediately on his release and on a weekly basis, thereafter. 7.
The petitioner shall provide his mobile number to the Jail Superintendent and ensure that he is reachable on the same at all times. 8.
