This is an application filed by the respondent, inter alia, praying that the amount deposited by the appellant with the Registry of this Court be released to the respondent. In terms of the order dated 26.09.2023, the enforcement of the impugned judgment and decree was stayed subject to the appellant depositing the entire decretal amount with the Registry of this Court. This Court has also given further directions that the amount deposited be invested in an interest bearing Fix Deposit Receipt (FDR). The appeal is dismissed in terms of the order dated 13.05.2024. 2.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the respondent submits that the amount deposited be directed to be released along with accrued interest to the respondent. She also submits that this would be in complete satisfaction of the decree.
