% 26.08.2019 Upon the matter being specially mentioned by the learned Standing Counsel for the State, present matter has been listed today. It is pertinent to mention here that the present writ of habeas corpus has been filed by the petitioner-mother seeking production of her younger daughter, Manisha aged about 20 years who has been missing since 24.07.2019.

The allegation in the petition is that Ms. Manisha has eloped with the respondent No.4, Babu Alam, (elder daughter's brother-in-law). The petitioner has also averred that she had received a ransom call on 02.08.2019 from the respondent No.4.

Today, learned Standing Counsel for the State has produced Ms.Manisha in Court. She states that she has married respondent No.4 out of her own free will.

Learned Standing counsel for the State, states that Ms. Manisha is a major and her statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C. has already been recorded by the Trial Court.

The petitioner-mother has met Ms. Manisha in the Court. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would like to withdraw the present petition as the matter has been amicably resolved.
