This is a petition filed under Section 29A of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for six months from 08.08.2025 to 31.03.2026. 2.

It is stated that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of arguments on counter claims.

Mr. Singh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

For the reasons noted above, I am satisfied that a sufficient cause for delay has been shown. Hence, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended from 08.08.2025 upto 31.03.2026. 6.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
