% 11.04.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.242/2013 under Sections 66A/67 of the Information Technology Act and 384 IPC registered at PS Sarai Rohilla on the complaint of respondent No.2 on the ground that the parties have settled the matter. Since the offence punishable under Section 384 IPC is serious in nature, this Court cannot quash the FIR in question on the basis of compromise.

Petition is dismissed.
