The present case before the learned Trial Court relates to the claim of guardianship and custody of a child who is merely five years old. The parents of the said child are contesting for the custody. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is willing to withdraw the present petition and seeks directions from this Court to the learned Principal Judge, South-East district, Family Court, Saket, New Delhi to dispose of the custody petition pending adjudication before it within six(06) months from today. It is submitted that the custody petition is pending since 2020.

In view of the submissions, permission granted to withdraw the petition with directions to the learned Principal Judge, South-East district, Family Court, Saket to dispose of the custody petition preferably within six(06) months.
