% 22.08.2019 Present writ of habeas corpus has been filed by the petitioner seeking production of his alleged wife Ms. Lata who is stated to have been detained by her father and her relatives.

Today, the petitioner and Ms. Lata as well as Mrs. Narmada (mother of Ms. Lata) are personally present in Court. We have spoken to all the three of them in our chamber.

Admitted position is that Ms. Lata and the petitioner are majors who have willingly married each other on 24.06.2019. Ms. Lata categorically states that she would like to stay with the petitioner. Keeping in view the aforesaid, Ms. Lata is permitted to live with the petitioner. The SHO Police Station Khayala, Delhi is directed to ensure that

no bodily harm or injury is caused to the petitioner and Ms.Lata. The beat constable of the concerned area is also directed to visit the petitioner and Ms. Lata at their address and provide them his mobile number as well as SHO's mobile number. In the event of any emergency, the petitioner and Ms. Lata would be entitled to get in touch with them. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
