The petitioner has filed this petition seeking grant of parole on medical grounds. Learned ASC appearing on advance intimation points out that application of the petitioner for parole is already pending for verification before placing the same before the competent authority. The application was filed on 05.05.2025 but not before the Jail Superintendent. The Department of Home where the application was filed processed the same and it would be now put up before the competent authority after collation of relevant information.

Considering the above circumstances, learned counsel for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to file afresh depending upon the outcome of his application. The competent authority is directed to dispose of the parole application within time prescribed by law and depending upon the decision or even indecision, the petitioner shall have liberty to file fresh petition.

In the meanwhile, the jail authorities shall ensure best possible medical treatment to the petitioner.
