This petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for the following reliefs:

"a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to release the retirement benefits of the petitioner including gratuity, leave encashment, commutation of pension and for providing regular pension, healthcare facilities and canteen facilities as per law along with interest.

b) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction for regularizing the suspension period and releasing the consequential benefits flowing By:RENUKA NEGI 19:46:07 WP(C) 7484/2025

from such regularization along with interest. c) Award damages and litigation costs in the favor of the petitioner for the constant delay, harassment and agony meted out to him."

The petitioner has filed representations dated 22.10.2024 and 01.04.2025 with the respondents, claiming retiral benefits. The said representations have not yet been decided by the respondents. 4.

The learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice of this petition, submits that the representations of the petitioner have been forwarded to the Ministry of Home Affairs for advice.

Be that as it may be, since the petition involves prayers for retiral benefits, we dispose of this petition by directing the respondents to consider the present writ petition as a representation of the petitioner and decide the same within a period of six weeks from today by passing a speaking order and communicate its decision to the petitioner. In case the petitioner is held entitled to the retiral benefits, or even a portion thereof, the same shall be released to the petitioner forthwith. In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the respondents, it shall be open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law.
