O R D E R

% 06.02.2020 The learned counsel for respondent no. 2 reiterates his statement of the previous dates, that the respondent-workman is ready and willing to settle all his claims against the petitioner for an amount of Rs. 5,00,000/-. This offer of settlement is accepted by the petitioner. The said amount is stated to have been deposited in this Court. Let the said amount, alongwith interest accrued thereon, be released to respondent no. 2 in his bank account. An undertaking shall be filed by respondent no. 2 in terms of the above within two weeks from today.

The amount shall be deposited into the said respondent's bank account only when the said undertaking has been placed on record.

The petitioner was proceeded ex-parte, since it did not appear before the learned Labour Court where the matter was kept pending for almost two years and before this Court, the matter has been pending for six months. In view of the above, Rs. 10,000/- shall also be deposited by the petitioner towards litigation expenses, within two weeks from today in the aforesaid bank account of respondent no. 2.
