% 25.07.2025 1.

Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 0107/2025 dated 27.02.2025 registered under Sections 376/506 IPC at P.S. Vasant Kunj and the proceedings emanating therefrom in terms of the Settlement Deed dated 19.04.2025.

2.

As per the Allegations in the FIR, Complainant and the Petitioner got into a live in relationship and subsequently, since the Petitioner refused to get married and ill treated the Complainant, she filed the FIR. 3.

4.

It is submitted by the parties that they have got married on 15.05.2025 and are living together.

5.

The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and they submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement. 6.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and also the fact that the Petitioner and the Complainant have got married and are living together happily, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. 7.

In view of the submissions made, the Petition is allowed and FIR No. 0107/2025 dated 27.02.2025 registered under Sections 376/506 IPC at P.S. Vasant Kunj with all the subsequent proceedings is hereby quashed. 8.
