O R D E R
% 01.05.2015 Petitioner seeks parole on the ground of filing a Special Leave Petition. It is trite to say that every convict is entitled to exhaust all the legal remedies, as may be available to him upto the highest fora by engaging a counsel of his choice.
Petitioner is not resident of Delhi.
However, for filing a Special Leave Petition, he will have to stay in Delhi. Accordingly, vide order dated 26th February, 2015 petitioner was directed to furnish Delhi address, where he would be staying during the parole period. Earlier, he had given address of one Ms. Anokhi Devi, who declined to keep the petitioner with her. Subsequently, on 10th April, 2015 petitioner's counsel submitted
that petitioner would be staying with one Mr. Ajay S/o Shri Brij Mohal Lal R/o House No. 461, Block 14, Sector 6, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Dakshin Puri, Deoli, Delhi - 110064. State has verified this address and the same has been found correct. Mr. Ajay had also stated that petitioner would stay with him during the parole period. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. Petitioner shall not leave the territorial bounds of Delhi. During the parole period, petitioner shall report to the Station House Officer, P.S. Dr. Ambedkar Nagar once a week, i.e., on Mondays at 10:00 am. On completion of parole period, petitioner shall surrender before the Superintendent Jail. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for serving it upon the petitioner and for compliance.
