These petitions have been filed by the Petitioner under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking interim directions.

On 11.08.2025, Court had recorded the submission of the Respondent that the petitions have been rendered infructuous on account of the fact that Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas vide order dated 03.06.2024 has reduced the quantities of gas allocation to the Petitioner and therefore, the security that was earlier required to be replenished stood reduced and Respondent is now sufficiently secured with the existing security. Time was sought by learned counsel for the Petitioner to revert with instructions. Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitions are infructuous, in light of the fact that the security furnished by the Petitioner is adequate, according to the Respondent. 4.
Accordingly, these petitions are disposed of as infructuous. All rights and contentions of the parties on merits are left open to be adjudicated before the Arbitrator, if and when parties take recourse to arbitration.
