These four petitions concern recruitment for the post of Junior Court Assistant in the establishment of the respondent-Supreme Court of India, pursuant to an advertisement dated 04.02.2025. 2.
The petitioners are aspirants for appointment in various reserved categories, namely Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections. They have raised various contentions with regard to the recruitment process, and the applicability of reservation in accordance with law.
