Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing of FIR No. 206/2019 under Section 498A/406/377/354/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Sarai Rohilla, District North Delhi and other proceedings emanating therefrom.

Basically, the grievance was for invocation of Section 377/354/34 IPC, in the FIR. However, learned counsel for the Prosecution submits that the Charge-Sheet has been filed under Section 498A/406/34 IPC only on which the cognizance has already been taken, whatever are the contentions may be raised before the learned Trial Court. 3.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly. Pending Application, if any, also stands disposed of.
