The present petition seeks that the respondent no. 2 (Deputy Conservator of Forest, West Forest Division, New Delhi) be directed to decide the application dated 23.04.2025 filed by the petitioner (Air Force Station, Palam, Union of India) for felling of 47 trees at Ullan Batar Road, Delhi Cantt., for construction of a new aerospace museum. 2.

It is submitted that the said project is a project of national importance and is being delayed for want of requisite permission by the respondents. 3.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that upon receipt of the petitioner's application, the respondent no. 2 had communicated certain deficiencies to the petitioner on the online portal of the concerned respondent, whereupon the petitioner had re-filed / re-submitted its application along with certain documents.

In the aforesaid circumstances, after some hearing, it is directed that the respondents would process the application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, and take a requisite decision. done preferably within a period of four weeks from today under intimation to the petitioner.
