The present petition under Sections 11/12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 seeks following prayers:- "a. To initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent for having committed the offence of the Contempt of the Court within the meaning of section 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 for wilfully disobeying the order dated 18.03.2025 in W.P.(C) no.4972/2018. b. Call a response from the Respondents detailing the steps taken so far from the concerned officers in compliance of the judgement dated 18.03.2025 passed by this Hon'ble Court.

c. Pass any other or further order(s) which this Hon'ble Court deems fit, proper and expedite in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour f the Applicant, in the interest of justice." Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent has handed up in Court today a communication dated 20.09.2025 from the Office of the Sub Divisional Magistrate (Punjabi Bagh) Government of NCT of Delhi, wherein it has been recorded as under:- "Status/compliance report to the Govt. Counsel for filing the reply before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi in the matter of Cont. Cas (C) 850/2025 Baldev Raj (Since Deceased) through LR Smt. Veena V/s Dharmender & Anr listed for hearing on 22.09.2025 before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.

Kindly refer to the order dated 31.07.2025 vide which the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi has ordered that Respondent No.2 shall remain present in Court along with compliance report on the next date of hearing i.e. 22.09.2025.

In this regard, the submissions before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi are as under:-

1. That in compliance with the order of Hon'ble High Court of Delhi dated 18.03.2025 in WPC No.4972/2018 titled in the matter of Sh. Baldev Raj V/s GNCT & Ors., the recommendation letter for allotment of flat to the petitioner i.e. Smt. Veena w/o Baldev Raj (since deceased) has already been sent to the Director Housing-II (DDA), Vikas Sadan, INA, New Delhi-110023 vide letter no. File No. DMWEST/137/2025SDM(PB)-Deputy Commissioner (West)/6426-28 dated 22.08.2025 (copy Annexed as annexure -I).

That as regard payment of costs in the sum of Rs. 25000/- directly to the petitioner, the matter has already been taken up with the Finance Department of GNCT Delhi with the approval of Competent Authority for their concurrence/approval and the amount is likely to be disbursed to the petitioner expeditiously.

In view of above facts and circumstances, the reply for submission before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi on the above facts is being sent for filing the same on 22.09.2025.

In view of the above, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition. 6.
