1. After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that taking into account the respondents' own stand that the representation made by the petitioners on 03.03.2022 has been forwarded to the Ministry of Home Affairs for their advice regarding further action to be taken, the petitioners would, for the present, be satisfied if the respondents are directed to take a time bound decision on their representation.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents assures the Court that an endeavour will be made to expeditiously dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 03.03.2022.

3. In the light of the aforesaid stand taken by the parties, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondents to take a considered decision on the petitioners' representation dated 03.03.2022 by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of twelve weeks.
