This petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of order dated 29th January 2025 in W.P. (C) NO.10910/2023, where the following directions were passed:

1. The limited prayer sought by the petitioner in the present petition is that the respondent be directed to decide the representation/s of the petitioner dated 10.10.2022 (Annexure P6) addressed to the Additional Secretary & DG, CGHS and dated 04.05.2023 (Annexure P7) addressed to the Special Secretary & DG, CGHS.

Learned counsel for the respondent (Union of India through Additional Secretary, CGHS), while seeking to refute the merits of the said representations, nonetheless submits, after some hearing, that the said representations shall be duly considered and a reasoned order shall be passed thereon by the respondent. Let the same be done as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from today.

Mr. K.D. Sharma appears on behalf of respondent and states that there has been some inadvertent delay in passing the order which has been caused due to the impression of the Department that they had earlier disposed of representation in 2022.

It is made clear that the order dated 29th January 2025 is a clear direction that the representations may be considered, and the question of representations being earlier disposed in 2022 is not relevant any more. 4.

Accordingly, counsel for respondent undertakes, on instructions, that the representations will be cleared within the next four weeks. 5.

Written communication in this regard shall be sent to the counsel for petitioner, and a compliance affidavit shall be filed. 6.

On this undertaking, the petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to revive it in case there is any continued infraction. 7.
