Learned senior counsel appearing for the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) submits that the present petitions were originally filed in an emergent situation in view of the impending elections for the Executive Committee of the DHCBA, which were slated to be scheduled on 28.09.2022. Court, the concerns which compelled the petitioners to file the present writ petitions stood redressed. He submits that certain findings were also rendered in various orders passed by the Court and consequent directions were also issued.

It is pointed out that the directions issued by this Court, have worked themselves out and the elections were conducted pursuant thereto. He submits that since the petitioner has no outstanding grievance against the respondent no.1, he does not wish to press the present petitions. 3.

These petitions are consequently dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

At request of learned counsel for the University of Delhi, it is clarified that the civil rights and remedies of the parties are kept open for consideration in appropriate proceedings, if any.
