The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 0021/2018, under Sections 406/420/467/468/471/34 IPC registered with Police Station Rajinder Nagar and all consequent proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

The said FIR was registered by respondent no.2. He has also made this complaint at the instance of his wife (respondent no.3) and his son, Mr Rohit Chadha. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and are identified by the Investigating Officer. They both state that they, as well as their son, have since resolved their disputes with the petitioners and no longer wish to pursue the present FIR. The respondents further state that they are also duly authorized to make a statement on behalf of their son
Rohit Chadha who is in Australia and has been unable to travel to India. 3.
The petitioners are present in Court and are identified by their counsel. They also state that they had since resolved all their disputes with respondent nos. 2 and 3 as well as their son Rohit Chadha. It is seen that both the parties are related to each other. Both the parties (petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3) confirm that the disputes were essentially internal family matters and the said FIR was lodged and the same have since been resolved. They jointly pray that the FIR in question be quashed. 4.
In view of the statements made by the concerned parties (petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3), this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition.
Accordingly, FIR No.
0021/2018 under Sections 406/420/467/468/471/34 of the IPC registered with Police Station Rajinder Nagar and all consequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed. 5.
The petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 shall sign this order as an acknowledgement of their statements recorded herein. VIBHU BAKHRU, J FEBRUARY 04, 2020 pkv
