The present petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed to impugn the order dated 30.04.2024 passed by learned ARC (West), Tis Hazari Court, Delhi in RC ARC No. 154/2017 titled as "Jaswinder Singh Dhamija vs. Naresh Dhingra & Ors.". 4.

Learned counsel submits that the Eviction Petition under Section 14(1)(e) read with Section 25B of Delhi Rent Control Act, 1958 was filed by the petitioner in the year 2017. Learned counsel further submits that the application seeking leave to defend was filed on 01.12.2017 and since then The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the same is pending disposal.

Learned counsel submits that now he is pressing prayer (c) of the present petition, which reads as under:- "Be further pleased to fix a time schedule/ time frame for the disposal of the leave to defend application pending for adjudication before the Ld. court of Sh. Vaibhav Chaursiya, Addl. Rent Controller (West) Tis Hazari court, Delhi in RC ARC/154/2017 titled as Jaswinder Singh Dhamija vs. Naresh Dhingra & others"

The learned ARC has already part heard the matter and has listed the same for remaining arguments on the leave to defend application on 06.08.2024.

Having considered the above, the learned ARC is directed to expeditiously dispose of the application seeking leave to defend filed by the petitioner.
