This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal by a period of nine months w.e.f. 15.05.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to a Contract awarded to the Petitioner by the Respondent for construction of Sagar By-pass between km 351.000 to km 405.770 of National Highway 26 in the State of Madhya Pradesh. On 01.01.2018, the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted and proceedings progressed. Mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal was extended from time to time by this Court and lastly vide order dated 22.08.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 633/2024 upto 14.05.2025. The arbitral proceedings are stated to be at the stage of final arguments. Issue notice.

Mr. Ankur Mittal, learned counsel for the Respondent accepts notice and on instructions, submits that the Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal. 5.
Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of nine months from 15.05.2025. 6.
Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
