This is a petition seeking under Section 29-A of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 06 months from 01st of June. 2.

It is sated that the arguments have been heard by both the parties and the award is reserved.

Issue notice. Mr. Roy, learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 4.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. 5.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 06 months from 01st June, 2025.

The petition is disposed of.
