% 26.08.2019 CRL.M.A.34161/2019 1.
Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
W.P.(CRL) 2360/2019 2.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the petitioner be released on furnishing of a personal bond and cash surety of ₹15,000/-.
3.
The petitioner was granted furlough by an order dated 10.05.2019 passed by the Director General of Prisons. One of the conditions for grant of furlough was the furnishing of a surety in the sum of ₹15,000/-. The petitioner claims that he is unmarried and has no relative that can stand as a surety. The petitioner had been released earlier on the surety provided by
his brother. The petitioner states that now there are certain disputes between the petitioner and his brother and thus, his brother is no longer willing to stand as a surety.
4.
In view of the aforesaid averments, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on furlough upon furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹20,000/- and depositing a cash surety in the sum of ₹20,000/- with the Superintendent, Central Jail No.14, Mandoli. 5.
The petition is disposed of.
