The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning a verification report dated 02.07.2019 and further praying that directions be issued to the jail authorities to release the petitioner on parole in terms of the order dated 22.05.2019.

The learned ASC appearing for the State points out that the petitioner had been granted four weeks parole in terms of the order dated 22.05.2019. However, the petitioner could not be released as his address was not verified.
He states that the address provided (S-242, IG Camp, Pahari
Number-I) has since been verified as that of the petitioner's mother-in-law. The statements of the neighbours have also been recorded. 4.
In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on parole on the terms and conditions as specified in GNCTD's order dated 22.05.2019.
