This petition has been filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 CrPC praying for issuance of directions to Respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide adequate security to protect the life and liberty of the Petitioners No.1 and 2 from brutal acts of Respondent No.4 and 5.

In brief, the case of the petitioners is that they fell in love and got married on 02.01.2016. Their marriage is not acceptable to respondents no.4 and 5 who are brother and mother of petitioner No.1. Case FIR No.64/2016 under Section 363 IPC has already been registered at PS Nand Nagri against the petitioner No.2 on the basis of statement made by mother of petitioner No1.

Notice to the respondent Nos.4 and 5 could not be issued as steps were not taken.

On behalf of the State, it has been submitted by learned ASC for the State though at present there is no element of threat to petitioners, still State W.P.(CRL) 433/2016

is ready to provide protection to the petitioners through Beat Staff in future, if there is any element of threat to them from the respondents Nos. 4 & 5. 5.

In view of the aforesaid assurance given by the State, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks leave to withdraw the present writ petition. 6.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. As prayed, copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties.
