Learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that she has instructions to state the show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner at a pre-inquiry stage and inquiry is yet to be conducted into the incident.

It is submitted that as per her instructions, a decision has not yet been taken and the issue is still open. She further submits that only a show cause notice has been issued and as of now no punitive action is contemplated and action, if any, would be taken in accordance with Rules on conclusion of the inquiry.

In view of the above statement, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition. 4.
