Both these petitions have been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"] for extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, who is adjudicating disputes between the parties. The respondents are related parties and both entered into agreements with the petitioner on 14.05.2013. The arbitral proceedings are also pending before the same learned Arbitrator and are at the stage of evidence. The arbitral proceedings were adjourned sine die by order dated O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 353/2023 and connected matter The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petitions are allowed, and the mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended for a period of six months from today.

As the arbitral proceedings have been pending for fairly long and are still at the stage of evidence, learned counsel for the parties assure the Court that they will cooperate with the learned Arbitrator for disposal of the disputes within the time granted today.

The petitions are disposed of with the aforesaid directions.
