Learned counsel appearing for Standing Counsel (Crl.) accepts notice for respondent no.1.
Respondent nos.2 and 3 are present in Court and accept notice. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 as well as petitioners have been identified by SI Naresh Kumar of police station K. N. Katju Marg. Respondent nos.2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners with the intervention of well wishers on their own free will and without any force or
coercion. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have no objection if FIR in question is quashed against the petitioners. Heard.
Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances of the case as discussed above and in view of the fact that the petitioners as well as respondents both are neighbours and have settled the dispute amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 160/2019 under Sections 323/325/34 IPC registered at Police Station K. N. Katju Marg and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. BRIJESH SETHI, J AUGUST 27, 2019 ssc
