The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:

a. An appropriate Writ, order or direction under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India directing the Respondent to decide the Appeal filed by the Petitioner on 24.01.2020 to be decided within a period of 8 weeks or any other reasonable time frame, as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper .

It is the petitioner's grievance that its appeal is pending before the CIT(A) for the more than five years.

In view of the above, we consider it apposite to dispose of the present petition by requesting the concerned authority to consider the petitioner's appeal as expeditiously as possible.
