Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of. O.M.P.(MISC.) (COMM) 465/2024 3.

The present petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter, 'the Act'). The case of the Petitioner is that the three-member arbitral tribunal was constituted on 26th September, 2019 with the appointment of the presiding Arbitrator. The pleadings in the matter are stated to have been completed on 20th December, 2019.

4.

Pleadings etc. have been completed in the matter. The mandate was extended by 12 months on 23rd July, 2023. that there are multiple issues, claims and counterclaims, which have to be adjudicated and hence the matter is taking time. 5.

The next date as per the procedural order of the arbitral tribunal dated 13th May, 2024, with further dates being fixed on 6th June, 2024 and 7th June, 2024 and thereafter dates have also been fixed in July and August. It is stated that given the voluminous documentation and ongoing hearings, an extension is essential to prevent prejudice to the arbitral proceedings. 6.

Considering the fact that the matter has been listed now for expert evidence and thereafter for final arguments, the mandate of the tribunal is extended by one year.

7.

The petition is disposed of. Pending applications also are disposed of. PRATHIBA M. SINGH, J.
