The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent nos.1 and 5 (SHO, PS Shaheen Bagh) to take appropriate steps to provide protection to the petitioners. It is stated that petitioner no.2 (Ayesha @ Neha Royal) has married petitioner no.1 after converting to Islam, in defiance of the wishes of her parents and her family. The petitioners are apprehensive about their safety and they claim that respondent nos.2 to 4 (family of petitioner no.2) have been threatening the petitioners.

The learned ASC who appears on advance notice submits that the address provided by the petitioners (G-39, Thokar No.4, Abul Fazal Enclave, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi-110025) could not be verified.
Nonetheless, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners insist that the petitioners are residing at the said address. 4.
In view of the averments made in the present petition, respondent no.5 is directed to ensure that periodic checks are carried out at the aforementioned residence of the petitioners.
The petitioners shall also be provided a contact number on which the petitioners can contact respondent no.5, in case of any emergency.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
