This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 on behalf of the petitioner seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal by 18 months. 5.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Seth, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition.

It is stated that the delay has occurred due to the fact that there were four cases which had been consolidated and the arbitral tribunal has been endeavouring to conclude all the disputes between the parties. 8.

It is further stated that from June, 2023, parties have been trying to settle their disputes and are still attempting to settle the matter. 9.

For the said reasons, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been shown.

The mandate of the arbitral tribunal is thereby extended for a period of 18 months w.e.f 30.05.2024 till 30.11.2025. 11.

Petition stands disposed of.
