This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitrator for 6 months so that the award can be pronounced. 2.

It is stated that the parties have concluded their arguments and filed written submission and do not need to address any further arguments. 3.

For the said reasons, the petition is allowed. The mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by 6 months from 20.06.2024 to make and publish the award. The period after 20.06.2024 stands regularised. 4.

In view of the statements of both the learned counsels for the claimant and the respondent, it is directed that the learned arbitrator will not list the matter for any further arguments.
