% 31.05.2024 By way of the present petition filed under section 29A(4) read with section 29A(5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996 ('A&C Act'), the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator for a further period of 02 months. 2.
Mr. Sandeep Bajaj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator will expire on 14.06.2024. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, that final arguments have already been concluded in the matter; and both parties have been directed by the learned Sole Arbitrator to file their respective written submissions.

Counsel for the parties jointly submit, that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator be extended by 02 months to conclude proceedings in the matter.

Upon a conspectus of the averments contained in the petition and the submissions made, the petition is allowed; and the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended, as prayed-for, by 02 months with effect from 15.06.2024, with a request to the learned Arbitrator to conclude the proceedings within that time.

The petition stands disposed-of in the above terms. 8.
