The petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, assailing an order dated 21.04.2025 by which she has been dismissed from her service as a Section Officer in the establishment of the respondent-Jawaharlal Nehru University ["JNU"]. 2.
By an order dated 28.05.2025, Mr. Vasanth Rajasekaran, learned Senior Standing Counsel for JNU, was requested to take instructions as to the availability of an appeal against the impugned order. Mr. Rajasekaran submits that the impugned order has been passed with the approval of the Executive Council, and the petitioner has a remedy of review under W.P.(C) 7682/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Having regard to the contention of the JNU that the impugned order is susceptible to a domestic remedy, it is appropriate that the said remedy be exhausted at the first instance.

The petition is therefore disposed of with the direction that the petitioner may file a petition for review of the impugned order by the Court of JNU. The reviewing authority is directed to consider and dispose of the same within a period of four months from today. 5.
All rights and contentions of the parties on merits remain reserved.
